Shock (1977) follows a couple that moves into a new house and surprise! It's a haunted house! The problem is that the couple actually does know the entity that is haunting them. The ghost that is terrorizing their lives just so happens to be the ghost of the woman's first husband who died. He is now possessing the son that the couple had together, Marco. This is a highly stylized Italian horror film with fantastically scary imagery and a creepy, angry kid who is possessed by his own dead dad. How wild is that? One might even say that it is shocking. Hey, that's the title! The kid even straight-up tells his mother one day that he has to kill her, so no one is safe in this house. They try to get the kid psychiatric help, but they need an exorcist. Or they need for the stepdad and new husband to go, whichever comes first in this film from Mario Bava and Lamberto Bava. We definitely don't want anything ba to happen to the new husband because he is so fine. John Steiner plays that character, the sexy Bruno Baldini who is sure to rile things up in your nethers. He's a dashing 1970s Italian man and he manages to get bootylicious in one scene in which he is on top of his wife as they have sex on the couch. Check out his golden booty as he gives her pleasure. That ass is a welcome sight among these shocking things in Shock!
