Play Motel (1979)

Made at the tail end of the giallo craze in Italy, the X-rated Play Motel (1979) may not be as prestigious as films made by Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, or other masters of the genre, but it's significantly sleazier! This story of a reporter (Ray Lovelock) and his girlfriend (Anna Marie Rizzoli) follows a familiar trajectory as they travel to a notorious sex motel that has recently become ground zero for a firestorm of controversy thanks to some murders that have taken place there. The film, and a number of its actors, were Americanized for the film's initial theatrical release, and several versions have been made available throughout the years, some with hardcore penetrative sex, and some without! The 2015 Blu-ray release retains these penetrative sex scenes, but only includes them as bonus features on the disc. In one of the film's sexiest scenes, Enzo Fisichella gets busy with a woman dressed as a nun, baring his butt while banging her, though the extended version of this scene shows his cock and balls as he bangs her for real!
