Sia: Elastic Heart (2015)

The 2015 video for Sia’s hit single Elastic Heart is highlighted by Shia LaBeouf’s odd flare for the artistic. In the controversial music video, the handsomely bearded actor is mainly naked, covered in dirt, wearing only a pair of skimpy, flesh-colored shorts, locked in an oversized birdcage. As the music kicks in, a young child (Maddie Ziegler) joins Shia in the cage, where they proceed to do some interpretive dancing tinged in an unbalanced mixture of aggression and love While the child is able to move in between the bars of the cage, Shia is unable to escape his confinement, leaving the youngster to frantically pull on a somber captive, unsuccessfully trying to get him out of the cage. Sia plus Shia equals perfection!
