Skiptrace (2016)

Comedian Johnny Knoxville and action hero Jackie Chan are undoubtedly two giant heads on the Mount Rushmore of putting your body on the line in the name of creating amazing cinema. In 2016, the pair teamed up to bring a zany, frenzied adventure movie with its fair share of laughs to screen with the Hong Kong cop comedy Skiptrace (2016). Chan is veteran Hong Kong cop Bennie Chan (Jackie Chan), who has been raising his dead partner's daughter Samantha (Fan Bingbing) since he was murdered nine years ago. Meanwhile, American conman Connor Watts (Johnny Knoxville) has been bouncing from Chinese casino to Chinese casino, working all the scams that got him kicked out of the USA. He witnessed a murder by the mysterious crook Bennie's been chasing, making him the key to taking down the whole enterprise. That means Bennie has to track him down and convince him to work with him. A career petty crook, Connor wants no part of that so, of course, Bennie has to chase him down. The odd pair end up dealing with Russian gangsters, trapped in Mongolia, fleeing angry villagers and all sorts of other kooky scenarios until Samantha is kidnapped and Connor decides to help. Together, the odd couple will use each other's skills and try not to get on each other's nerves as they set out to save Samantha. The plot is really secondary to the stunts, with both Knoxville and Chan throwing their bodies around as the mismatched pair forced to get along. But the best scene in the movie was one that must not have been all that hard to film. Johnny and Jackie are in the middle of the desert, in only their undies, and have to cuddle together for warmth. They're spooning, and we're swooning to those meaty chests and adorable tummies. When they wake up, a bunch of people are taking their photos! That's a snapshot that'll become a fapshot! We'd rather they were touching each other without a trace of clothing, but what are you going to do? It might be all about the stunts and action, but you don't want to skip that skin scene in Skiptrace!
