Well sometimes the absurdity of a horror movie comes across almost like comedy and the early 1970s psychotronic horror flicks like Sometimes Aunt Martha Does Dreadful Things (1971), is bound to give you a emotional whiplash from laughs to screams to gasps...  In this classic low budget horror thriller, we follow a pair of somewhat bumbling and eccentric fugitives from the law, Paul (Abe Zwick) and Stanley (Wayne Crawford).  As they both begin to realize that John Q. Law is breathing down their neck while they are on the lam from their latest crime spree, they need a place to hide out, so in 1971 America, the best place to lay low is in the suburbs!  So Paul and Stanley decide to rent a house out in the suburbs to keep from the prying eyes of city and state law enforcement.  It's very of the times that two men renting a house in the suburbs would raise the eyebrows of the neighbors, so Paul decides that it would be easier to blend in if he goes full Bosom Buddies and dresses as a woman to pose as Stanley's cooky aunt Martha.  Well, he doesn't go Bosom Buddies, he actually goes "Norman Bates" instead, and becomes a crazed psycho killer in drag, pretty much murdering anyone Stanley brings home and the rampage is seemingly going to spew outside of the walls of their newly rented home and into the street of their adopted Suburbia!  Get ready for some crazed good times in this classic psychotronic flick especially with Wayne Crawford in his undies and one and done actor Abe Zwick in his only film spending multiple scenes in drag and without a shirt!
