Sprung (2022)

Sprung is an endearing sitcom series from the creator of the beloved series My Name Is Earl, Gregory Gracia. Sprung takes place at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, where we meet a cast of inmates incarcerated for nonviolent crimes who are released from prison as part of the unprecedented pandemic protocalls. Among these inmates is Jack (Garret Dillahunt) who has decided that he will turn his life around. After all, he was only sentenced to prison (a full 26 years prior) for possession of marijuana. But the other inmates including Rooster (Phillip Garcia) pick right back up where they left off and begin scheming. Since Jack, Rooster, and the rest are living under Rooster's mom Barb's (Martha Plimpton) roof, Jack ends up getting caught up in the others' criminal ways despite his best intentions.
