Swagger (2021-2023)

Swagger (2021) is a drama about greatness in a young athlete. This story is about a young basketball player who plays on the AAU circuit where he practices and shines like a total star. This series is inspired by Kevin Durant's childhood and rise to basketball stardom. It is not a direct retelling of Kevin's story, of course, but it is loosely inspired by it all. The series stars some real Black royalty in modern Hollywood including O'Shea Jackson Jr., Tristan Mack Wilds, Ozie Nzeribe, Qvenzhane Wallis, Caleel Harris, Sean Baker, Isaiah R. Hill, and so many more. Swagger is filled to the brim with style, substance, and - well - swagger. Watch it even if you are not a real basketball fan. You don't have to follow up with hoops to admire young men playing sweaty, shirtless basketball with one another. Oh, sorry. We must be fantasizing yet again. There are not many shirtless scenes in this series, but there is one that has us drooling as we watch. Check out the sweet and sexy Deric Augustine who glistens in his workout scene. Deric Augustine plays Lester who goes shirtless in a scene where he is training. Those workouts are clearly working because his body is looking buff. Check out his big shoulders and strong biceps as well as his light brown pecs and six-pack abs. He definitely has swagger and he does not have to wear a thing. In fact, next time, he should show us the balls in his basket.
