If there’s one tragic movie about a drunken children’s book author and artist that you must see, The Door in the Floor (2004) is it. First of all, it stars Kim Basinger as Jeff Bridges’ wife, who falls for Jeff’s teenage assistant (Jon Foster) after catching him masturbating to a pair of her panties. Concurrently, Jeff is busy burying his door in other chick’s floors, but he has a special affinity for Mimi Rodgers. Neither Kim nor Jeff want to confront the tragedy from their past, so it’s only a matter of time before the married couple’s infidelity becomes the catalyst that makes them deal with their old wounds and buried secrets. Jon brings the goods in this moody movie. The young assistant stands shirtless in front of a sexually aggressive Kim. His hairless, super skinny twink physique is sweetly seductive. Later in the film, when the copulating couple is caught making the beast by Kim’s young daughter, Jon jumps to cover his junk with a lampshade, but he doesn’t cover his soft behind. On the other end of the spectrum, Jeff showers outdoors after a rigorous game of racquetball, giving us a clear view of his aged ass. You’ll be floored by all the male skin in this dark drama.
