The Gambler (2014)

Hunky Mark Wahlberg portrays the titular character in the crime thriller The Gambler (2014). Jim Bennett (Wahlberg) is a bit of an anomaly. While he earns a living as a literature professor, he also has a gambling addiction that gets him into some major trouble. With debts to Lee (Alvin Ing), the head of a gambling ring, and to Neville Baraka (Michael K. Williams), a loan shark, Jim must clean off his slate in seven days or he will be murdered. While Jim thinks about hitting up his students for some cash, he instead he convinces his mother (Jessica Lange) to front him the funds. But during a night out with one of his students, Amy (Brie Larson), in typical degenerate fashion, Jim gambles the money away. Amy gets kidnapped, Jim is forced to ask one of his basketball-playing students to shave some points during a game, and more high stakes gambling ensues.

While Wahlberg’s character continues to gamble his life away, he manages to show off his hunky upper body on two different occasions—once in the bathtub and the other during a dip in pool. Mr. Man bets that a shirtless Wahlberg will put a tingle in your loins!
