The Honeymoon Killers (1970) recounts the real lives of Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck, two murderous and maniacal lovers bent on robbery and revenge during the 1940s. It all begins when Martha, a bitter nurse, and Ray, a corrupt con man, meet via the Lonely Hearts correspondence club and hit it off. While Martha was signed up against her will, Ray uses the service to seduce and steal from unwitting women. Martha falls for this dashing, toupée-topped man, somehow convincing him to admit his diabolical schemes to her. Instead of running for the hills, she moves in with him and gets in on his scheming, pretending to be his sister as he beds and weds other women, stealing all their life savings before murdering them in cold blood. Martha gets hella jealous watching him roll around in bed with women that are not her, though, and she ups the ante on the whole "murder" aspect of this plot. Unfortunately, Martha realizes that Ray is always going to really suck as a human being, so she turns them both in. Ray tells her that she's the only woman he's ever actually loved right before they are executed. Life is hard, guys.

We can certainly see why Martha fawns all over ravishing Ray, though. Played by Tony Lo Bianco,he strips off his pants, revealing his round rump and taut torso, then shows off his bulging biceps when he drops down to dole out pushups in front of his salivating lover. Life may be hard, but so are we.
