The Happy Ending (1969)

The Happy Ending (1969) is a drama written and directed by Richard Brooks about a middle-aged woman played by Jean Simmons who suddenly wants to uproot her life. She wants to leave her husband and kids in order to go find herself. She tells him "we're not in love - we just make love. And damn little of that!" Wow, that is a really harsh thing to say, but go off, queen! Follow housewife Mary Wilson as she leaves it all behind and joins the ideals of the younger generation to liberate herself. The cast also stars Teresa Wright, Shirley Jones, Tina Louise, Dick Shawn, and John Forsythe, but the real winner is the young and sexy Lloyd Bridges. Lloyd Bridges is shirtless on the beach in a tight white speedo. Not only does he show off his tanned chest when he lays poolside and lets the sun and the pool water glisten on his toned chest, but he also walks around in that white Speedo of his. Sadly, the white Speedo doesn't get wet enough for us to see his dick through it, but we like watching his bulge and imagining checking out what is underneath. His fit body is honestly so hot that we think it's giving this housewife all of the clarity that she needs. From his blond chest hairs to his athletic figure, Lloyd is the kind of late 60s dream man that we all drool over. Seeing Llyod's dick would be The Happy Ending that we all need.
