The Punisher (2004)

While watching The Punisher (2004), Mr. Man wants to punish his penis — in a good way. Alas, the marvelous Marvel Comics character doesn’t flash much flesh. Nevertheless, we’re up for this movie since it includes hotties such as Ben Foster, James Carpinello, and Kevin Nash. Of course, at the center of the story is the alluring antihero Frank Castle (Thomas Jane). When his wife (Laura Harring) is murdered, the former FBI agent transforms himself into a relentless vehicle of vengeance operating outside of any limits or laws. John Travolta portrays Howard Saint, the head baddie who will be punished... or will he? As fans await the fall out, the plot presents Frank Castle, Sr. (Roy Scheider), Maria Castle (Samantha Mathis), Quentin Glass (Will Patton), Harry Heck (Mark Collie), Joan (Rebecca Romijn), and Bumpo (John Pinette). According to this R rated flick, vengeance is a dish best served shirtless. In other words, Mr. Jane literally loses his top and we are grateful to glance at his abs. But it goes without saying that we would’ve liked to have seen a lot more of his built bod. The fact that this pic is a bit on the skingy side may explain why it received poor reviews and made far less at the box office than other superhero films. Although the movie barely broke even, the shots of Thomas’s toned torso did generate some interest in our spank banks. We’re thinking it might be worth being bad just to be punished by the Punisher!
