Stephen King’s supernatural novel “Carrie” (1974) was adapted into the horror flicks Carrie (1976) featuring an Oscar-nominated Sissy Spacek and a newcomer named John Travolta; Carrie (2002) with Angela Bettis; and Carrie (2013) starring Chloë Grace Moretz. If that’s not enough, there’s also The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999). In this pic, we meet Rachel (Charlotte Ayana), the younger half-sister of Carrie (shown via archival footage of Ms. Spacek). Like her elder sis, Rachel is an outcast who has untapped psychic powers. After her only friend Lisa (Mena Suvari) commits suicide, she goes into an emotional tailspin. Now that Rachel is out of control and ready to kill, her new mood doesn’t bode well for the popular kids who used to bully her at school. In other words, footballers Jesse Ryan (Jason London), Brad Winters (Justin Urich) and Chuck Potter (Elijah Craig); cheerleader Tracy Campbell (Charlotte Ayanna); and jock Eric Stark (Zachery Ty Bryan) better watch out! Only Sue Snell (Amy Irving), the lone survivor of Carrie’s infamous rampage 22 years prior, can help Rachel calm down. After all, who wants to see another senior prom turn into another bloodbath? Certainly not Coach Walsh (Steven Ford) or Sheriff Kelton (Clint Jordan). Of course, you won’t need telekinesis to make something move in your pants when you ogle the built bod on high school hunk Mark Bing (Dylan Bruno). This is especially true when the popular dude flashes his flesh at the 35-minute mark. Yes, Mr. Bruno bares his buns. Nothing scary about that!
