From the mind of Mindy Kaling comes the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls, which debuted on the premium streaming service in mid-November 2021. Rather than being some clever title for a show that's actually about the intellectual pursuits of a bunch of post-grads, the show is exactly what the title advertises, following four freshman girls—Bela (Amrit Kaur), Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott), Leighton (Renée Rapp), and Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet, sister of our beloved Timothée)—who arrive at Vermont's Essex College with their hormones raging at the first taste of freedom in their young adult lives. The show follows the fabulous foursome as they navigate the ins and outs of the politics of college life, both sexual and social, learning about themselves and others in a more deep and meaningful way than they ever have before now. Perhaps the most controversial storyline in the show's first few episodes involves Whitney getting into a clandestine relationship with her much older and married soccer coach Dalton (James Morosini), creating plenty of drama and giving the show a bit of social messaging on which it can hang its hat. Although the first few episodes featured nothing in the way of nudity, it did feature plenty of shirtless eye candy from the likes of the aforementioned James Morosini, along with Gavin Leatherwood, playing Nico the dreamboat brother of Leighton who begins a serious flirtation with Kimberly. Also in the mix is some sexy shirtless action from Matthew Gold as Max, meaning that for a show titled The Sex Lives of College Girls, they're certainly not neglecting those College Boys!
