The Shards (2026)

FX's adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's novel The Shards was buzzed about months before its August 2026 release thanks to the involvement of none other than Ryan Murphy. Under his purview, we get a sexual psychological horror series set in 1981 Los Angeles populated with Hollywood’s hottest rising stars. We expect nothing less! Igby Rigney plays the main character and narrator, Bret, a Buckley School senior who hides his sexuality from his circle while his parents wander Europe. Senior year hits a snag with the arrival of Robert Mallory (Homer Gere), who enrolls in the school at the same time that a serial killer named The Trawler begins murdering teenage boys. Wes Bentley plays Terry Schaffer, a movie producer and the father of Bret's girlfriend Debbie. Together, Wes and Igby are responsible for sexing up the first two episodes of The Shards. We peep the ageless Wes shirtless while Igby strips down in two scenes to showcase his rock-hard, athletic physique, even bulging out in tighty-whities! In this shot, he also collapses into bed with another boy, Owen Painter. This Shard will make you hard!
