The Witch (2015)

The beautifully conceived and highly acclaimed horror flick, The Witch (2015), employs a subtle sense of dread that, over the one and a half hour run time, permeates every inch of your body. Also, it stars the sexy Ralph Ineson! Set in 1630 New England, The Witch tells the story of a devout family that leaves a community after the threat of exile. Now living off of the rural countryside, the family clings more feverishly than ever to their greatest defense against the scary unknown, religion. Through a series of unsettling events, the parents begin to believe that their teenage daughter is a witch. Religious belief turns to paranoia and abuse as the family refuses to hear their daughter’s plea that she is not responsible for the family’s misfortunes. We really don’t want to ruin this one, so all we’ll say is that Ralph Ineson is smoking hot as the religious, woodsy type, and gives us multiple chances to look at his gorgeous bod! Amen!
