Triangle of Sadness (2022)

A mere five years after winning the Palme d'Or for his film The Square (2017), Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund earned his second top prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his satire of the rich, Triangle of Sadness (2022). Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean star as Carl and Yaya, two models who are gifted seats on board a luxury yacht captained by a Marxist captain (Woody Harrelson) and populated by Europe's elite. Much like another recent Palme d'Or winner, Bong Joon-Ho's Parasite (2019), this film looks at the parasitic nature of the relationship between the wealthy and the underclasses, complete with a shit and vomit filled dinner during a turbulent storm that you won't soon forget! While Harris Dickinson doesn't get as nude as he has in past films like Beach Rats (2017), he does spend a substantial amount of the film sans shirt, which isn't too shabby!
