Buba (2022)

The German Netflix film Buba, a prequel to the series How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast), is a Guy Ritchie-inspired dark comedy about a small town con artist named Jakob Otto (or Buba, played by Bjarne Mädel), a lovable loser who uses pain as both a way to get quick cash and as a coping mechanism (like a cutter except with breaking bones and setting himself on fire) and his brother Dante (Georg Friedrich), who has something called foreign accent syndrome and a limp from surviving the car crash that killed their parents. Due to Buba’s overwhelming guilt and karmic approach to life the two end up joining the local mafia and more bone crushing antics ensue. Buba also reconnects with the woman who was his first kiss, now a tattoo artist who he has decorate the most sensitive parts of his body, like his inner thigh, to make it more painful, but also giving us a nice look at Mädel’s underwear and manly bulge in the process.
