Hard Feelings (2023)

German comedy always skews darker than most other countries, and the comedy Hard Feelings (2023) is no exception to that rule. Teenagers and life long best friends Charly (Tobias Schäfer) and Paula (Cosima Henman) have enough to deal with, what with all the rigamarole of being in high school and combating raging hormones—don't worry, our leads are both in their 20s irl—but now they've got the added twist of beginning to get romantic feelings for one another. The age old debate about men and women going from friends to lovers rages on anew, this time in Germany where we get a lot more nudity thrown in for good measure! Leading man Tobias Schäfer bares all in the flick, including a climactic scene where he and Henman go bottomless on stage! Couple this with a steamy locker room scene where Maximilian Schneider whips out his (prosthetic) penis and swaps spit with Leander Lesotho, all while Louis Jérôme Wagenbrenner watches! Hard Feelings will give you plenty of, well, hard feelings!
