Yes (2025)

Yes! is a provocative Hebrew-language satire set in Israel after the tragic October 7 attacks. It follows a struggling jazz musician Y (Ariel Bronz) and his dancer wife Yasmin (Efrat Dor), who decide to say “Yes” to everything to survive, both financially and emotionally, in a country in crisis. The couple begins selling not just their art but also their bodies as they spiral deeper into desperation. Y’s situation escalates when he is commissioned to compose music for a new national anthem, which pulls him directly into the machinery of nationalism and propaganda. All of this chaos includes a scene of two men bent over in the bathroom naked, with a woman snorting lines of coke off their bums! We identified one of the bums as belonging to Oded Carmi. It’s hard to say "no” to Yes!
