Triple Frontier (2019)

Since our Special Forces soldiers are incredible, but not all that highly paid, it's always been a question what it would look like if they started to use their skills for criminal purposes. J.C. Chandor's A-list filled flick Triple Frontier (2019) examines this very question via an action-packed heist film about five former Special Forces operatives who reunite to rob a South American drug kingpin. Santiago "Pope" Garcia (Oscar Isaac) is a former Delta Force operator who is doing some security work in South America. A woman named Yovanna (Adria Arjona) trades him help getting out of the country for the location of drug cartel leader Gabriel Martin Lorea's (Reynaldo Gallegos) secret stash of 250 million bucks. Pope takes the deal, then reaches out to Tom "Redfly" Davis (Ben Affleck), William "Ironhead" Miller (Charlie Hunnam), Benjamin "Ben" (terrible nickname) Miller (Garrett Hedlund) and Francisco "Catfish" Morales (Pedro Pascal) for help robbing the place. They get together and plan the whole thing to perfection, only for a few members to get greedy when the moment comes and overload their helicopter with more cash than it can handle. Far too heavy to fly over the Andes Mountains, suddenly, they're stuck trying to haul all this money across the country to their getaway boat, right at the moment the drug cartel leader's men figure out what's going on and start chasing them to get their cash back. Soon enough, it's soldiers turned crooks versus cartel killers in a battle for survival! Chock-full of big stars, there's an unfortunate lack of full-frontal in Triple Frontier. Instead, all we get is Garrett Hedlund is super sexy as always when he walks into the locker room shirtless and flexes. He plays an MMA fighter who'll have you fighting the urge to take your pants off! Mr. Man would let that soldier boy hit it from the front or the back after watching Triple Frontier!
