Two Night Stand (2014)

If a one night stand is good, a Two Night Stand (2014) must be even better — especially since it features hunky Miles Teller! Not to be confused with Poland’s romantic drama Tonight You’re Sleeping with Me (2023), this American rom-com follows the aftermath of a supposed no strings attached, online hook-up between Alec (Teller) and Megan (Analeigh Tipton). She’s an unemployed singleton and he’s a nerdy, semi-attached dude. The pair of twenty-somethings do the deed at Alec’s place, but when Megan awakens the next morning to make the walk of shame, her exit is blocked by a massive amount of snow from an overnight blizzard. Since neither of the two have a smartphone with a weather app or access to a shovel, Megan is literally trapped at Alec’s cramped Brooklyn apartment. As such, they are stuck spending the day together which ultimately leads to them getting to know each other better. But when Megan learns Alec kind of has a girlfriend, she leaves in a huff. Apparently, the snow has been already cleared up. After some shenanigans involving a New Year’s Eve party and an arrest, their one night stand eventually turns into something more serious. The movie includes Jessica Szohr, Leven Rambin, Michael Showalter, Scott Mescudi, and the voice of Joey Lauren Adams. Although this R rated pic was dissed by critics and a box office miss, seeing the leading man’s bulge in long johns is enticing. But if Miles took off his undies, the flick would be more exciting!
