It’s hard to imagine, nowadays, that a single music video could play a very big role in launching a musician’s career the brand new heights, but it turns out that that sort of thing actually used to happen, way back in the early 2000s. Virginia born hottie D’Angelo was already an established entity by then, selling plenty of records and well known for his singular mix of neo soul, R&B, and funk, but he didn’t really become a sex symbol until he released his controversial video for the Voodoo single “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”, directed by Paul Hunter, in which he stands around naked, singing to the camera the entire time.
