While novelist James Patterson has crafted all sorts of twisty-turny thrillers, sometimes the simplest premise is the most compelling one. Based on his novel of the same name, CBS' Zoo (2015) asks how the world would react if all the animals turned on us and started killing humans. Jackson Oz (James Wolk) is an American zoologist who runs a safari business in Africa alongside his buddy Abraham (Nonso Anozie), who starts to notice animals' strange behavior. He's convinced something is making them very aggressive towards humans, and after surviving a giant mass lion mauling, he realizes he's right. Most scientists don't believe him until it's too late, even if journalist Jamie Campbell (Kristen Connolly) does. They'll travel the country trying to figure what's going on with these animals, as they deal with killer chimps, evil bats, and all sorts of pet dogs gone bad. But they don't just bite! These animals are smart enough to do ridiculously stupid stuff like block out a solar panel to kill the power and freeze humans to death. With no more of the novel to lean on, season two switches things up by throwing in extinct animals like sabretooth tigers while season three gets insane with hybrid animals and time jumps. Since it's on CBS, the show never got wild enough to give us any nudity, but there's some stuff that'll get your pheromones moaning. The beautiful Billy Burke proves that he is a total babe when this wild creature to show that he's the true sexy beast Zoo. What a keeper! First, we see him to some manual labor, and then he's suspended in some blue goo as a science thing. Watching him makes us say rawr! That'll make you spew to Zoo!
