7,999 short of a beloved 90's alternative rock band, 2001 Maniacs (2010) is a one maniac upped remake of 1964's Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964), though the basic plotline is the same. Essentially, six college kids are driving down to Daytona Beach for Spring Break, when they make a pit-stop in Pleasant Valley, Georgia. The town is having their annual "Guts and Glory Jibulee" in honor of those who died in The Civil War, and although all the pro-Confederate stuff weirds the college kids out, they decide to stick around and see what it's all about. That turns out to be a terrible idea, because Pleasant Valley is actually nothing but a giant cemetery thanks to the Union Soldiers going all Sherman's March and slaughtering 2001 Southerners back in the day. The Rebel ghosts declared all that reconciliation crap be damned, they're going to slaughter 2001 Northerners as retribution and have been killing poor Northerners who venture into their valley ever since. Soon enough, the Southern dandy Mayor George Buckman (Robert Englund) and his townsfolk are taking out the Yankee invaders one by one. Mr. Man would like to Bonnie blow all sorts of these sexy Southern boys watching this wild slasher. As a fella named Hucklebilly we'd want to huck silly, Ryan Fleming is a hot little twink we see bathing in a barrel, showing off his tight and trim bod. That's only the beginning for sexiness in this bloody film. Dylan Edrington shows off his ass when he is giving a chick a good rollicking in the sack, showing off different angles of his buns and even a peak at some pubes when he gets up. The show really takes off when Brian Gross, Matthew Carey, and Jay Gillespie strip down to their shirtless skivvies for a kinky montage that is worth a standing ovation. Deo Vindice, those bodies are nice! The South will rise again, but not as high as that thing in your pants watching 2001 Maniacs!
