After watching Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004), moviegoers became Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) fans. As such, they returned to the theaters to see Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008). And just when everyone thought they had enough of these cinematic stoners, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011) came out. Also known as A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, this R-rated flick takes an interesting turn. As it begins, we see the long-time buds have grown apart. Yes, they’ve found new friends and are leading entirely different lives. Harold scored himself a hot wife, Maria (Paula Garcés), a spacious suburban home, and a lucrative Wall Street job, while Kumar continues to live his bong-huffing, slacker ways. After finally uniting, the two go back to their merry, trouble-making habits. In fact, Kumar accidentally burns down a treasured X-mas tree belonging to Harold’s father-in-law (Danny Trejo). As such, the duo must go on a chaos-filled mission to replace the Douglas Fir on Christmas Eve. Throughout their quest, we are treated to some holiday packages. In other words, we get to ogle Amir Blumenfeld donning nothing but a pair of skimpy skivvies! Not to be outdone, Mr. Trejo reveals his tattooed chest. If that’s not titillating enough, Mr. Cho sports a prosthetic peen. Merry Christmas indeed! Last, but not least, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka exchange a sexy kiss. Judging by these arousing actions, odds are Christmas won’t be the only thing that’s coming soon!
