Review

The TV mini-series Anna Karenina (2000) tells the classic tale of Leo Tolstoy’s legendary novel. Taking place in late 19th century Russia, Anna Karenina (Helen McCrory) engages in a risqué affair Count Vronsky (Kevin McKidd). For a PG-13 rating we weren’t expecting much, and this adaptation of Anna Karenina lived up to that. A few side-booty shots of Douglas Henshall, and Kevin McKidd, but that’s about it. We were really counting on seeing some more McKidd!
