Beeswax (2009) is a flirty indie movie from writer and director Andrew Bujalski who went on to direct so many other indie comedies in this same quiet, hipster vain. This particular movie tells a tender story of identical twin sisters who exist very differently in the world at large. One of the sisters is played by Maggie Hatcher who plays a parapalegic girl who gets around in a wheelchair. Her twin - real twin sister Tilly Hatcher - is not paralyzed at all and walks about able-bodied. Their experiences are thus very different, but their sisterly bond remains. That being said, the sisters do run a vintage shop together. Maggie's character cares a lot more about the shop than her sister does and she wants to have sole rights to the shop, so she looks into potentially suing her sister for that ownership. Eeek! Drama is afoot, but the pair have to learn to work together and work through this hurdle along with countless others that life throws at them in terms of love, dumb men, hot men, career, and being each other's best friend. That being said, the ladies do hook up with guys who are worth ogling at. While Alex Karpovsky is in the movie, he does not go nude. Leave that to David Zellner who plays Scott. His ass is Scott free of any pants when he gets out of bed and slowly puts his boxers and jeans back on. David Zellner's booty in Beeswax is the bee's knees!
