Beyond the Universe (2022)

Grab some extra kleenex before settling in to watch the weepy Netflix original romantic drama Beyond the Universe (2022). This Brazilian flick stars real life Brazilian pop star Giulia Be as Nina, an aspiring concert pianist with an autoimmune disease that requires near constant medical attention, like when she becomes in desperate need of a kidney transplant. Gabriel (Henry Zaga) is one of the doctors tasked with helping Nina through these various medical emergencies and he can't help but fall for the young woman and her ambitions to get better and continue performing. Though his head tells him that he can't help Nina forever and her body will eventually succumb to this disease, his heart tells him that he needs to encourage her to follow her dreams. In the film's sexiest scene, the pair gets caught in a rainstorm and decide to strip off their wet clothes and give in to their desires, giving us some nice looks at Henry Zaga's bare ass!
