Review

Bird (2024) isn't just the title of filmmaker Andrea Arnold's fifth narrative feature film, it's also the name of Franz Rogowski's character, a strange but harmless drifter who befriends a twelve year old girl named Bailey (Nykiya Adams) who has run away from home. Turmoil in Bailey's home life—her father Bug (Barry Keoghan) is marrying some woman he barely knows—has caused her to run away, and Bird himself is a former runaway looking for his mother. While the film is never what anyone might call sexy, it's got some shirtless action from Barry Keoghan, as well as a brief flash of ass from nudecomer James Nelson-Joyce!
