Bitter Tropics (2007) brings us to tropical mid-century Martinique where a wealthy plantation owner has an affair with a beautiful black mistress played by the irresistible Fatu N'Diaye, much to his wife's dismay. The three then spiral into violent relationships that explore the dynamics between masters and slaves.
