Blackwater (2023)

The Swedish miniseries Händelser vid vatten, or Blackwater, debuted in early 2023 and tells the story of a remote community in northern Sweden that was rocked by the murder of two tourists in 1973, jumping back and forth in time between 1973 and 1991. Annie—played in 1991 by Pernilla August and in 1973 by her real life daughter and dead ringer Asta Kamma August—discovers the bodies of the tourists shortly after arriving at this intentional community with her daughter Mia and her new lover (Christian Fandango Sundgren), hoping for a fresh start. The unsolved murders haunt her, however, and in 1991, Annie is rocked when her now adult daughter Mia (Alba August, another daughter of Pernilla) brings home her new boyfriend, whom Annie suspects is the murderer who changed his identity. The series gets off to a skinsational start with a skinny dipping scene featuring full nudity from Magnus Krepper and several uncredited extras! Throw in a fingerbanging scene with a nude but not showing anything Christian Fandango Sundgren and you're gonna want to take the plunge into this series!
