Body of Evidence (1993)

Madonna won a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress for her performance in the erotic thriller Body of Evidence (1993). Nevertheless, the film spawned the knock-off flicks Body of Influence (1993) starring Nick Cassavettes and Body of Influence 2 (1996) with Daniel Anderson. Under the direction of Uli Edel, this R-rated pic barely made a profit at the box office despite having Anne Archer, Frank Langella, and Joe Mantegna in the cast. The action kicks in when attorney Frank Dulaney (Willem Dafoe) is given the tall task of defending Rebecca Carlson (Madonna) in the murder of her wealthy sugar daddy Andrew Marsh (Michael Forest). Even though Frank is married to Sharon (Julianne Moore), he is seduced by his cunning client when he works on the case. While Dulaney wrestles with his conscience, you’ll be wrestling with your zipper since there are plenty of shots of the leading man in the buff! This is especially true when Ms. Carlson launches a sexy, sadomasochistic affair that could cost the lustful lawyer his marriage, job and life. Mr. Dafoe doesn’t disappoint since the skintastic actor bares his chest and reveals his rump during a hump with Ms. Moore. In other words, he puts the motion into this motion picture! If that’s not hot enough, Willem steams up the screen in another sex scene wherein his gavel can briefly be seen bouncing off of his thigh. Post poke, Dafoe rests his case for all to see. No wonder this movie also goes by the title Body!
