Dogma (1999)

Kevin Smith’s religious satire Dogma (1999) follows Bethany Sloane (Linda Fiorentino), an abortion clinic worker, as she gets visited by Metatron (Alan Rickman), the voice of God, and is giving an assignment to head to a church in New Jersey to stop two fallen angels, Loki and Bartleby (Matt Damon and Ben Affleck), who, through a loophole, have found a way to get back into heaven, which will lead to the destruction of the world. The chosen chick is joined by Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith) and the thirteenth apostle Rufus (Chris Rock) to stop the fallen angels’ killing spree and their demonic sidekick Azrael (Jason Lee). Like pennies from heaven, Chris Rock falls from the sky, sans clothes, and bares his beautiful butt in the middle of a deserted highway. Chris Rock is sacri-licious!
