The White River Kid (1999)

In The White River Kid (1999), Antonio Banderas and Bob Hoskins star as Morales and Edgar, an adopted father-son duo who travel around Arkansas selling socks. The pair claim to be preachers who are selling the socks for some poor blind orphans, but they're really just conmen pocketing the cash. The duo of dupers run into all sorts of simple types hawking the stockings, including a few who should stay off the beaten path. When they meet Apple Lisa Weed (Kim Dickens) and her boyfriend, the former serial killer known as The White River Kid (Wes Bentley), the pair kidnap the con artists and force them to drive to Apple's home. There, they all meet the wacky hillbilly family, think about whether to bring Apple's brother Reggie (Chad Lindberg) in on the scheme, and even fall in love with a blind tea maker (Ellen Barkin). This one was a bit of a mess, which explains why it never went to theaters. But there's a whole lot of Arkansas love in it! Not only was it filmed in The Natural State, but Wes Bentley is a true Arkansan and Bill Clinton's brother Roger Clinton even has a bit part! Speaking of bits, body parts and being in your natural state, Wes Bentley gets a little frisky and decides to go skinny dipping (thank Gawd!) We see his plumpy posterior and are begging for him to do a 180. When he pulls a giant catfish out of the water, we are greeted with a look at his delicious dong! In another scene, Chad Lindberg passes out in a steam room and when his towel falls off, we see a bit of his bare buns! No kidding, there's some sexy stuff in The White River Kid!
