Dollhouse (2023)

The Brazilian short fantasy film Casa De Bonecas, or Dollhouse (2023), stars queer performance artists Luty Barteix, Chico Gonçalves, and João Vinícius in an abstract dance piece that very nearly defies description. The official synopsis is spot-on in its vagueness when saying that the three performers wriggle and worm their way down to a "dark, wet place where the grotesque and sensual merge and anyone who enters is seduced by the pink secretions that lie within." I mean, they're not wrong, that's what happens, but when you put it so bluntly, it doesn't really do the images justice. We are treated to the bare asses of all three performers, but if the imagery in these clips grabs you, we encourage you to watch the full 16 minute short, it truly is something to behold!
