If you’re looking for a gory horror flick with martial arts action and a macabre sense of humor, check out Evil Feed (2014), not to be confused with the R rated pic Evilspeak (1981). Under the direction of Kimani Ray Smith (who co-wrote the script with Aaron Au and Jana Mitsoula), this low-budget freak-fest follows Steven (Terry Chen), a dedicated son who helps run the family business: The Long Pig Restaurant. This oddly-named eatery has earned a reputation in the underground world for its exotic cuisine. You guessed it, human beings are on the menu! But all of Steven’s hard work is for nothing since his dad decides to sell the restaurant instead of passing it down. The only way to deal with this disrespect is to chop off his fickle father’s head. With him out of the way, Steven and his nympho gal Jenna (Laci J. Mailey) have big plans for the place. They nab MMA fighters and force them to battle it out in front of a hungry crowd. What good is human flesh unless it’s tenderized? In other words, look out Brian (Derek Gilroy), Carlos (Bishop Brigante), Nash (Sebastian Stewart) and Pete (Curtis Lum). The movie also includes Alain Chanoine, Alyson Bath, and an ass-flashing David Milchard. Yes, the skintastic actor serves up his bare buns right before he’s toast. Mr. Man would love to snack on the hunky dish! Needless to say, this flick has the right combination of fear and flesh to scare your pants off us!
