Grotesquerie (2024)

The same year that megaproducer Ryan Murphy blessed us with the nudity-filled true crime series Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story, he got back in touch with his horror roots with the series Grotesquerie. This is a mystery horror series about a serial killer who displays his victims in biblical poses, ala Seven. Muhpy holds onto his best and brightest, and for Grotesquerie he brings back Dahmer star Niecy Nash as a troubled detective working this grizzly case. She teams up with a nun to help her get to the bottom of these religious-themed murders. Speaking of Murphy's favorite actors, and speaking of Monsters, Nicholas Alexander Chavez - who stars in Monsters as Lyle Menendez - is also in Grotesquerie and stars as the self-flagellating and masturbating Father Charlie Mayhew!
