Heathers (1989)

An instantly iconic cult classic that became a beloved Broadway musical, Heathers (1989) is a movie aptly named for the three most popular girls at the Ohio high school Veronica (Winona Ryder) attends. There's Heather Duke (Shannon Doherty): the green wearing bulimic desperate to stay in the group, Heather McNamara (Lisanne Falk): the head cheerleader who's not as mean as the rest, and Heather Chandler (Kim Walker): the unquestioned (and don't you dare question her) leader of "The Heathers." Veronica badly wants to be a part of the in-crowd and leave her good girl shoes behind her—until she doesn't, of course. She has no idea how to shake this evil clique she so desperately once wanted to join, until she meets a rebel (Christian Slater) who gives her a new idea entirely: Just kill them and get it over with. Surprisingly light and funny, this movie follows Veronica as she tries to do normal things, like get into a good college and stop arguing with her sociopathic boyfriend, all while she's slowly killing off the croquet loving cool kids at school. No high school romance is complete without sex in the park, and Christian Slater doesn't disappoint. The two play strip croquet (where do we sign up?) before lying down together in the grass, with Christian's shirtless chest exposed. That'll have you manhandling your mallet! Two of the menacing couple's victims are popular dudes Lance Fentron and Patrick Labyorteaux, who think they're going to double team Winona and strip for her only to find that she is going to shoot them instead. That's not very Christian behavior! Those handsome dudes were absolute heaters in Heathers!
