The TNT miniseries I Am the Night (2019) is a true crime series based on real events that took place back in the 60's. Wonder Woman (2017) director Patty Jenkins reteamed with Chris Pine to present a wild tale of secret identities and murder. Pine is Jay Singletary, a PTSD ravaged Veteran of the Korean War working as a journalist in Los Angeles. He's convinced that George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), the wealthy doctor sleeping his way across the city is the true killer of The Black Dahlia. Subsequently, Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) is a biracial woman adopted to black parents who grew up being known as "Pat" until she starts turning over the rocks on who her biological parents were. She's a big Civil Rights advocate but comes to realize that she's not half-black at all. In fact, her dad is none other than George Hodel, who gave her away because the circumstances surrounding her conception were rather gross. Like, Fauna's lucky to not have three arms gross, if you catch our drift. As the pair decide to confront George and ask him if he murdered The Black Dahlia, they find themselves in the middle of an LAPD corruption scandal. Soon enough, our pair of brave truth-seekers are dealing with some powerful enemies who are more than willing to kill to keep their secrets. If you've been pining for Chris to take all of his clothes off, then I am...sorry to disappoint you. However, Chris does show off his incredible abs in a bunch of different scenes, whether he's walking around his house shirtless, surfing, or just walking the beach in an open shirt. At one point, when he's on his board it even bunches up and gives us a great shot of his bulge. Hung ten! I am going to be thinking about that all night!
