Man Camp (2013)

The awkwardly sweet comedy Man Camp (2013) follows longtime hairstylist Clark Dormer (Greg Tuculescu), a self-described sissy who has no luck with women thanks to being such a wuss. He desperately wants to impress his crush Lucia (Fernanda Machado) and man-up at the same time, so he enrolls in the titular camp run by the hunky and handsome Luke (Dean Cain). It's not a traditional camp. You're not allowed to talk about it, you're not allowed to whine, and you're not allowed to question any of the teaching tactics of the alpha-male counselors. But Clark is in for a rude awakening when he learns that the ultra-douchey counselor Buck (Scott Rodgers) is Lucia’s boyfriend! Man, that sucks! Along with his fellow cuck classmates, Clark will learn to stand up for himself, become more macho, and grow into a man's man! But with Buck running amok with his dream girl, will the student become the teacher to take his girl from him? A flick that has aged rather well in the era of middle-aged rich dudes signing up for weird, fake military boot camp style camps, Mr. Man would camp out all night for a ticket to this one after hearing about the skin scenes. While you’ll be laughing until it hurts, you’ll also be rubbing until it hurts when you see Greg Tuculescu sans shirt, getting his pubes waxed. Now that'll put some hair on your chest! Scott Rodgers adds a dash of sexiness as he bulges out in his boxer briefs after pumping a chick, while Patrick Toolan is man enough to wear some tight green Speedos while lying on the beach. Mr. Man's a specialist when it comes to turning boys into men, so he'd love to work his magic at Man Camp!
