But some time around his 21st birthday (October 14, 2009, for the curious) Max started appearing in edgier fare like the steamy Amanda Seyfried drama Chloe (2009). Fast-forward four years, and Max is a bona fide bad boy who stars as troubled drifter Dylan Massett on A&E's Bates Motel (2013-).
