Midnight Express (1978)

If the movies haven’t taught us anything, they’ve certainly taught us not to smuggle drugs, especially when you’re in a foreign country. Well, looks like American tourist Billy Hayes (Brad Davis) didn’t get the don’t-be-a-mule message. The biographical crime drama Midnight Express (1978) follows Billy, the naïve college student, as he heads to Turkey to visit his girlfriend Susan (Irene Miracle). Before leaving the country ol’ Billy has the bright idea to take two kilograms of hashish with him, strapped to his buff body in carefully constructed blocks of foil. Of course, he’s nabbed at the airport, thrown in jail, and smacked with a thirty-year sentence. With less-than-favorable jail conditions and an inflexible judicial system, Billy decides his best bet is to make a run for it. The ballsy dude isn’t going in it alone. He teams up with fellow prisoners Jimmy (Randy Quaid) and Max (John Hurt), and together they hit the catacombs underneath the penitentiary to make their great escape. But when a rat squeals on them, Billy and his buds are busted, and his life behind bars becomes mentally unbearable. A visit from Susan reignites his passion for freedom, and it's only a matter of time before he gets back on the Midnight Express. Since this is a prison-based flick, you know you’re bound to get the obligatory strip search scene. Brad Davis bares his buns and teases a look at his cock as he assumes the position for the guards.
