Outcast (2010)

Horror, fantasy and sci-fi become one in the British flick Outcast (2010), not to be confused with the BBC One drama The Outcast (2015) or the Cinemax series Outcast (2016-2017). Colm McCarthy’s supernatural thriller is set in the dilapidated council flats on the outskirts of Edinburgh. There, a magical woman named Mary (Kate Dickie) and her son Fergal (Niall Bruton) keep a low profile to protect themselves from harm. Despite Mary’s stern warnings, Fergal strikes up a friendship with the local gal Petronella (Hanna Stanbridge). At the same time, a bloke named Liam (Ciarán McMenamin) arrives in town with Mary’s ex-lover Cathal (James Nesbitt). This dude is bad news and wants to murder Fergal. As such, Cathal partakes in a strange tattoo ceremony to arm himself with the power to follow through with the fateful deed. Can a police officer (Christopher Downie) and housing officer (Christine Tremarco) prevent the crime? Or will Laird (James Cosmo), Paul (Daniel Portman), and The Beast (Ian Whyte) step in before Cathal can reach his tender target? Maybe Mommie Dearest will step in and save the day. If you can get past this movie’s goofy premise, you’ll be rewarded with onscreen nudity. Just 19 minutes into the pic, a shirtless Mr. Bruton flashes his ass as well as his dick! Later, Niall’s naked (albeit bloody) body can be seen. Not to be outdone, Mr. Nesbitt bares his abs, tattooed back, and manly sack at the 58-minute mark. His character might be bad, but James sure looks good!
