Before releasing the thriller Revelation (2001), writer/director/producer Stuart Urban exposed his kink via the risqué romp Preaching to the Perverted (1998). Banned in the Republic of Ireland, the English satire starts when uptight government minister Henry Harding (Tom Bell) embarks on a moral quest to rid London of its sexual seediness. As such, he enlists a Christian computer whiz named Peter Emery (Christien Anholt) to secretly record illegal acts at the House of Thwax, a sex club run by Mistress Tanya Cheex (Guinevere Turner). But the gullible geek fancies Ms. Cheex and soon finds himself going further and further down the S&M rabbit hole. Speaking of holes, there are plenty to view in this lewd movie. In fact, Mr. Anholt flashes his ass as he prepares for a beating in the dominatrix’s dungeon. No doubt, the Brit’s spanking requires a stiff upper lip — emphasis on stiff! If that’s not erotic enough, he also takes a butt plug while prancing like a pony in bulging women’s panties 59 minutes into the movie. Gitty up! The R rated flick also tracks Commander Cope (Don Henderson), Fibbin' Gibbins (Ricky Tomlinson), Esmeralda (Sue Johnston), Eugenie (Julie Graham), Miss Wilderspin (Georgina Hale), M’Learned Friend (Julian Wadham), Mr. Cutts Watson (Roger Lloyd-Pack), a reporter (Glenn Sims), and the skin on Lunk (Enzo Junior). Yes, the latter hottie steams up the screen when he shows off his awesome abs and be-thonged buns. He’s just one of the submissive hunks to ensure this pic is a bone-ified cult classic!
