Review

Rancho Deluxe (1975) is a delightful western comedy about two cattle rustlers in modern Montana. It is not so much that they are criminal types, as that they have found some traditional role to play in the West. Jeff Bridges and Sam Waterston play the rustlers. The cattle they shoot (and carefully carve with a chain saw) belong to the ranch owned by former beauty shop owners (Elizabeth Ashley and Clifton James). The love interests for our rustlers are two sisters (Patti D'Arbanville and Maggie Wellman). But you’ll probably more interested in the scene where Jeff Bridges runs away from his girlfriend wearing nothing but a dog mask.  So that’s how you do it doggystyle!
