Red, White & Royal Blue (2023)

The 2023 gay romantic comedy Red, White & Royal Blue is a hugely popular flick based on the hit book of the same name. Many worried that Amazon Prime's treatment of the source material would be light on the passion, but thankfully it delivers in a major way. The movie is about the relationship between the son of the President of the United States and the Prince of England. The First Son Alex is played by Taylor Zakhar Perez and Prince Henry is played by Nicholas Galitzine. Initially, these two do not like each other, so much so that they get into a huge fight at a royal wedding that causes an international scandal. The two boys are ordered to play nice in front of the public eye, and this fake friendship ends up blossoming into a romance. Perez's character is coming to terms with his bisexuality while Galitzine is, as he states, "As gay as a maypole." What you need to know is that the sex is really incredible. Too many times mainstream gay stories shy away from sex, but Red, White & Royal Blue confronts gay sex head on. The two young virile men steal plenty of passionate smooches, but things get insane fifty minutes into the movie, when Nicholas Galitzine lays down in bed to get fucked by Taylor Zakhar Perez in the missionary position! It's a surprisingly intense gay sex scene for a romantic comedy - gay or straight. We get to see Taylor Zakhar Perez (who previously went naked and wore a prosthetic penis on Minx) nude the following morning when he hurries to get dressed.
