Co-written and directed by Brittany Snow, Parachute (2024) stars Courtney Eaton as Riley, a woman recently released from a rehab facility. Riley has had a complicated relationship with food for her entire life and seems ready to move on after this latest stint in rehab. Everything's going great until she meets Ethan (Thomas Mann), a newly single guy who Riley is ready to latch onto a never let go of, replacing one addiction with another, equally dangerous one. Just thirteen minutes into the flick, after meeting at karaoke, the two start hooking up.
