Reflections in a Dead Diamond is a stylized throwback European spy movie from auteur filmmakers obsessed with the aesthetic of Bond-esque movies of the 60s. We meet an elderly man at a seaside resort who spots a sparkling diamond nipple ring on a gorgeous woman. This triggers a series of nonlinear flashbacks, to a time when the man was an international spy (or, these sequences are merely a fantasy - the distinction is left ambiguous by the filmmakers).
