Imagine if Hollywood’s swinging sixties satire Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) was converted into a 21st century drama set at a seaside resort in the UK. If so, the romantic flick would be called Scarborough (2018) and it would follow Aiden (Edward Hogg) & Liz (Jodhi May) & Daz (Jordan Bolger) & Beth (Jessica Barden). Based on the same-named play by Fiona Evans, this openminded (and open-legged) pic centers around two couples who fight and fornicate over the course of a weekend — with a heavy emphasis on the latter! Just 6 minutes in, Mr. Bolger bares his muscular back and bouncy buns as he gets busy with his woman on the carpet. Watch out for rug burns! If that’s not skintastic enough, Mr. Hogg flashes his abs, back and ass when he and Ms. Barden get down and dirty at the movie’s 01:07:00 mark. Needless to say, they put the motion into this motion picture! No wonder it received a Best Film nomination at the Transilvania International Film Festival and a win from Macao’s International Film Festival for Best Screenplay (written by Barnaby Southcombe who also directed the film). Meanwhile in the United States, we were won over by the characters’ willingness to engage in arousing activities. In other words, their amorous antics raised our interest — among other things! In fact, we’re guessing this provocative production will have home audiences talking to the screen, asking, “Any of you copulating couples want to turn this into a throuple?”
